Son of Maj. David Leslie Todd and Violet Lilian Todd, of Torrens Park, South Australia.

Presumed Dead
Mr. and Mrs. D. Leslie Todd, of Torrens Park, have received private advice from the Air Board that their son. Flying Officer John Trevor David Todd. who was reported "missing on  air operations" on March 8 1943, is now presumed to have lost his life on that date. 
F O. Todd was navigating officer of a Catalina on a bombing mission to Gasmata in New Britain. F/O. Todd was educated at St. Peter's College and at the time of joining the RAAF in March, 1941, was doing the Commerce course at the University of Adelaide. He was President of the Commerce Association of the University for a period. He was on the staff of the AMP Society, and was 22 years of age at the time that he was reported missing.
