Son of William Allen Steer and Frances Steer; husband of Dorothy Baines Steer, of Prospect, South Australia. Judges' Associate.

Miss Dorothy Steer, of Bosanquet avenue, Prospect, has been informed by the Air Board that her husband, PO Norman George Steer, who was reported missing after active combat over the  Friesian Islands on October 15, 1944, is officially presumed to have lost his life on that date. PO Steer transferred from the Army to the RAAF in December, 1942, and left to complete his training in Canada in May, 1943. Before enlisting he was employed in the Local Court branch of the SA Government. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Steer, of Amherst avenue, North Norwood.
