PO Leith Chandler Mudge, lost his life on May 21 during air operations in Dutch New Guinea He was educated at the Streaky Bay public school and St. Peter's College, Adelaide, and joined the staff of Goldsbrough. Mort & Co., Ltd. At the time of his enlistment he was managing the branch office at Lock. In 1941 he married Miss Doris Gilles
pie, of Minnipa, who died in the same year.
