Son of Norman Harold and Anna Elizabeth May Morphett, of Fullarton, South Australia.

DEATH DOTH HIDE, BUT NOT DIVIDE. UNITED STILL ARE WE

Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Morphett, of Woodfield avenue, Fullarton, have been notified that their elder son, Flt-Sgt. Phillip H. Morphett, lost his life in air operations in India on August 5. Before the war he was in the Militia as a field engineer, and in October, 1939, was called up for service at Fort Largs with the Fortress Engineers. He trained with the RAAF and left for overseas in July, 1941. He served as a bomber pilot in Eng-land, the Western Desert, Ceylon, and India. He was formerly on the staff of the Savings Bank of SA. His brother is training in the RAAF.
