Private Casualty Advices
Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Allan, of Hudson street, Prospect Park, have been notified that their eldest son. PO Stanley Gordon Allan, who was reported missing from an operational flight over Germany on May 29 last, is now presumed dead. PO Allan was captain of a Stirling bomber attached to an RAF squadron. Before the war he was employed in the Motor Vehicles Department.
