He married Sheila Beavis NOLAN in Brighton, SA on 9th December, 1939

Warrant Officer William James Sandercock 417420 of 279SQN RAF was killed when Warwick HG209 crashed off the Norwegian Coast - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial
