Son of Cyril Kenneth and Edith Millikan, of Peterborough West, South Australia.
AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER
Mr and Mrs C. K. Millikan, of Peterborough West, have been advised that their eldest'son, Warrant Officer, Kenneth Thomas Millikan, (R.A.A.F.), who was reported missing as the result of air operations over Brunswick, Germany, on May 23rd, 1944, is now believed to have lost his life on that date. Ken enlisted in July 1941, leaving for England via America in January 1943. He served in an English Lancaster Squadron as Observer and Air Bomber. Before enlisting he was employed in the Revenue Branch of the Lands Department. He was educated at the Primary and High Schools, Peterborough, gaining his Leaving Honours at Adelaide High School. He leaves one brother, Corporal Alex. J. Millikan, A.T.C., Burra.
