Sgt. Wallace Eugene Lodge RAAF ATT RAF of Henley Beach, aged 23. Son of Mrs Caroline and the late Mr E Lodge, of East Terrace Henley Beach, Educated at Pulteney Grammar School, Adelaide. Fond of swimming and tennis and took keen interest in Toc H. Was member of many sporting bodies at Henley Beach. In civil life was on the staff of the State Bank, Adelaide. Enlisted in February 1941 and was reported to have lost his life during air operations. He was a member of the crew of a Lancaster bomber. His father, a member of 1st AIF, died in 1942 and his only brother, Gnr R F Lodge was in the 2nd AIF overseas.
