Son of Freer Barnes King and Isabella Mary King, of Echunga, South Australia.
HIS SPIRIT STILL LIVETH. EVER REMEMBERED BY HIS PARENTS
Mr. and Mrs Freer B. King have received official advice that their son, Sfft. Air Gnr Thomas Freer MacGregor King, previously /reported missing, believed killed, lost his life with all other members of the crew of a Wellington bomber, in action over Stuttgart, on the night of May 6th, 1942. They were buried with military honors in Olzheim cemetery, Prum. He was educated at the Echunga and Mount Barker (high) schools, and, after having been for nearly three years a member of the S.A. 27th Bat. Scottish Infantry. He enlisted in the R.A.A.F. and in 1941 left for the United Kingdom. At the time of death he was 24 years of age and attached to the R.A.F., No. 12 Squadron. Lincolnshire.
