Sergeant Hiller 407075 of 3SQN was shot down on the 26th of November 1941 and baled out of his burning aircraft with severe head burns.

His aircraft - Tomahawk AM413 - crashed near Sollum, Tobruk, Libya where he was taken prisoner and hospitalised but died of his wounds on the 2nd of December 1941
