Marston Winthorpe CROUCH was born in Northcote in Victoria on 7th January, 1914

His parents were Arthur James CROUCH & Margaret Marston (Winnie) THORPE who married in South Australia on 2nd May, 1908

He accidentally drowned at Balikpapan in Borneo on 6th January, 1946 & was originally buried in Balikpapan War Cemetery on his birthday 7th January & then reburied in Sandakan War Cemetery on 17th February, 1947 and finally laid to rest in Labuan War Cemetery in Borneo on 9th June, 1949
