Mr Gp Sheidow 41st Battery, bought a palce at Marion in July 1919. It was over run by box thorn but he had a brother LR Sheidow 41st Battery who is with him as a trainee starting the day he retuned from service. They have cleared and planted 10 acres of apricots and vines in alternate rows, and have 12000 cabbages looking well. They have also put a well down, and are now (1920) sinking another. The Department have taken over the morgage on this badly neglected property.
