Norman Clarence Waters was born at Tweedvale (Lobethal) on 29 July 1925 to Florence Valerie Waters (previously Pollard, nee Marshall) [1896-1976] and Victor Clarence Waters [1893-1937)
Norm enlisted to fight in World War Two in 1944. His service number was 153199 and he was a leading aircraftman at the Service Flying Training School in Malllala. He was discharged in 1946.
