Born on December 31, 1886, in Brisbane, Queensland, Thomas Edgar Pryor later moved to South Australoia

In 1914, Thomas Edgar Pryor enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) to serve in World War Ɪ

In 1939, with the outbreak of World War ꞮꞮ, Thomas heeded the call to serve his country for a second time. Despite his advancing age, he re-enlisted in the Australia Army.
