Add my storyBiography contributed by Faithe Jones
Private Meek, who was killed in action, was the third son of the Rev. B. J. Meek, Methodist Minister at Rockdale (formerly of Bathurst). He was 31 years of age, was educated at Newington College, and, prior to the outbreak of war, was employed by the Alliance Assurance Company. He was a well known member of the Parramatta Golf Club. Private Meek has two brothers who are serving their country—Chaplain Meek, who is at present in Flanders, is a graduate of the Sydney University; and Mr H. K. Meek is a member of the King's Own Rifles. He is a brother of Mr. Meek, of the late firm of Whitford and Meek, of Orange.
