    Next of kin given as his sister Mrs Winton of Winton, QLD. Brother of Patrick Cooney of 28 Calero Street, Lithgow, NSW

    25 June 1915 - returned to Australia on board HS Ballarat suffering fom a mental illness and unfit for discharge. Disembarked at Melbourne on 6 August 1915
