Biography contributed by Bill Adams

Margaret worked as a Shorthand Typiste in the Savings Bank of South Australia before enlisting in the Royal Australian Air Force.

Margaret lived in Kensington Park in South Australia and had to move to Melbourne to do her training in the RAAF.

At the time of her discharge Margaret was an Aircraftwoman and her role in the RAAF was Clerk General in the Stores Unit.

She was very proud to assist her Country in the war effort.

After the war, Margaret later married and had a girl and a boy. She enjoyed travelling around Australia by car.

As at February 2019, Margaret is still alive at age 93 and resides in a Nursing Home, where she loves to be visited by her family.
