His parents were Charles Henry Ward FREAK & Ellen Woodward COWLEY who married in Perth, Western Australia in 1905
He married Ethel Dorothy HARRIS-PAINTER in Adelaide, SA in 1936 - two known daughters, Barbara & Norma

His brother Jack Eli FREAK (SN S47567) served during WW2 as a Signalman in the 4 Lines of Communication (PMG)
