Corporal Frank Gordon Lillecrapp 47304 of 12SQN was accidentally electrocuted at Merauke, New Guinea

Number 12 Squadron (Vultee Vengeance) was based in Merauke in western New Guinea between November 1943 - July 1944 under the command of 72 Wing
