Arrived in Australia in 1911 ged 27 years

Son of Albert Richard Edgington and Esther Edgington of 15 Park Avenue, Worcester, England formerly of Esscott, Olivers Mount, Worcester, England

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

On 11 August 1914 he enlisted in the Australian Naval and Experitionary Force serving in the Papua New Guniea area for over 200 days he then discharged on the 4 March 1915 due to his term being finished and enlisted in the AIF a few weeks later
