Husband of Florence Amelia BEANE nee BASTIN

After a long period of ill-health Mr. Walter Henry Beane, of Bumberrah passed away on Saturday last, aged 53 years.  For many years the late Mr. Beane had suffered from war injuries, but in spite of his affliction he faced difficulties in the years that followed the war with the digger pririt.  He was a devoted husband and father and to his wife and family of three young sons and one daughter the sincere sympahty of all those acquainted with them will be extended in their sorrow.  

The funeral took place yesterday afternoon the internment being made in the Bumberrah  cemetery where the service of the Church of England was condcuted by Rev. Sutton.  The coffin was draped with the Union Jack and the coffin bearers were members of the Returned Services League. The funeral arrangements were made by Messrs Holland and Craig.

BEANE.—In loving memory of my dear Husband and our father, Walter Henry Beane, who missed away on 18th June, 1938. Sadly missed.
