WO Gustav Adolph Obst, of Light's Pass. Aged 42 Married with seven children. Son of Carl J and Maria Obst of Neales Flat (both deceased). Educated at Neales Flat Lutheran Day School. In civil life was a plantation manager at the Lutheran Mission, Finschhafen, New Guinea. Enlisted on February 17 1942 and was killed in action in New Guinea on December 21 1942.
