Corporal Vernon A. Wickens gained an exhibition at the P.T.S. [Pupil Teacher School] in December, 1902.
Since leaving school he has been at the A.M.P. Office, Adelaide. Mr. Wickens is well known
as a prominent football player. He has been accepted in the Light Horse Regiment
