At Balaklava recently a large number of townspeople gathered at the Institute to welcome home Sergeant Rzeszkowski MM, and Lce-Corporal Evans. The Cheer-up Society, who had the arrangements in hand are to be congratulated on their efforts. The League of Loyal Women formed a guard of honour for the guests, who were welcomed by Mr H Virgo, Mr Robinson, MP, the Revs. FL Rooney and TP Davis and Pastor Beiler. The two soldiers were presented with a medal each by the secretary of the local Cheer-up Society.
