"THE LATE PRIVATE A. J. DAVENPORT.
Mrs. H. S. Davenport, of Gertrude-street, Norwood, has been notified that her eldest son, Private Arthur J. Davenport, who left Adelaide in December last, was killed in action in France on July 25. Previous to enlistment he was overseer at Mutooroo Station, and he resided at Murraytown and Booleroo for some years. He was 26 years of age.
