"No. 5137. Pte E.G. Mills "A" Company, 57th Battalion, was killed in action on the night of 27th Oct 1917, whilst stretcher-bearing near Paschendale [sic] Ridge (Ypres).  We have no particulars as to the nature of the wounds received and no record of burial."
