The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017 - refer to pages 60 + 263. Prior to the war he was a farmer of York Plains Tas. He enlisted 26 Oct 1916 aged 31 years. He served with the 12th Infantry Battalion, and unfortunately he was Killed in Action 10 May 1918.
