Son of Lawrence Greno Thompson and Ruth Thompson, of Outtrim, Victoria.
News was received on Friday by Mrs. Peters, wife of Mr. W. Peters, who is in the employ of Cr. F.W. Fair, coachbuilder, Fryers Street, that her brother, Lance-Corporal Lawrence Thompson had been killed in action in France. Mrs. Peters left the same day to join her mother at Fern Tree Gully. The family was formerly resident in Outrim, and is related to the Oswald family of Shepparton.
