Son of Richard George STRINGER and Rosina May nee KERLEY, Arno Bay, SA
Husband of Myrtle Renna STRINGER nee WITTY (remarried ARGENT)
Late Pte Charlie Stringer.
Mrs. C. Stringer, of Arno Bay, has been notified that her husband, Pte Charlie Stringer, 34, died of injuries, a result of an accident on January 12 at Brisbane.
Pte Stringer was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs R. G, Stringer of Arno Bay. He has two brothers serving in the A.I.F, Another brother lost his life at Trobuk. He leaves three sons — Doug, Reg and Kelvin. Sincere sympathy is felt for Mrs C Stringer and family and also for the parents of deceased, who besides losing two sons as a result of the war also bad the misfortune to lose a daughter (Mrs Pobke) who was killed as a result of an accident with a horse team last year.
