His brothers Private Ernest Albert Henderson and Driver Arthur Henderson, aged 33, also fell. Leslie, aged 20, also served with the 60th Bn. Australian Infantry, A.I.F., and died with Ernest.

He and Ernest have no known grave and are therefore commemorated together on the V.C. CORNER AUSTRALIAN CEMETERY AND MEMORIAL, FROMELLES- memorial reference: 20.
