William Reeves Pantlin had only just turned 17 years when he was killed. 

His father Private Henry Thomas Pantlin died at 7.45 p.m. on 11 February 1917 at Fargo Military Hospital from Acute Bronchitis, age 43. He was buried at Durrington Cemetery, Wiltshire, Plot number 195.
