Jack Faehrmann was born on the 21st of June 1916 in Hahndorf, South Australia. Faehrmann was enlisted on the 19th of September 1940 in Mount Barker, aged 24. Before starting in the war Faehrmann worked as a farm hand. He served in South Australia, Queensland. He was killed in action on the 15th of July 1945 in Bougainville.
