Eric married Marion Francis Davidson on 10th September 1949 at Lameroo in South Australia. They had two children, Enka Shirley and Peter Davidson, both born at Lameroo. He died on 24th January 1984 and is buried at Parrakie Cemetery near Lameroo in SA.
