Biography contributed by Julie Lynch

My Dad was born in 1925 in McBride's Hospital in Medindie, South Australia to Florence Eleanor Glover/Lynch. My father, the eldest of 5 children had a hard upbringing being brought up by a single mother who worked on cattle stations, taking her children with her, cooking for all the stationhands and farmers. My Dad was sent to work in the bottle yards at the age of 14 to help his mother and his siblings survive the Depression.

He joined the Army and drove ambulances in Darwin during the war.

Most of his life he worked 3 jobs. A car salesman during the day. Boxing and Singing nearly every night at dances all around South Australia to give us, his wife Lola and his 4 children a much more fortunate upbringing than his own.

A true and humble gentleman all his life and love by many.

Rest Peacefully Daddy. Sadly left this world 24/09/2012.
