At the time of his enlistment his next of kin was given as his brother John James Rice address unknown but possibly may have been Whetstone, London, England. Frank also claimed that he was a widower with no family
Son of Joseph Sutherland Rice and Mary Sutherland Rice. husband of Fanny Jane Sutherland Rice nee Mainey of South Herts Golf Club, Totteridge, London, England
Frank and Fanny were married on the 10 June 1894 in the St. Johns, Waterloo Road, Lambeth. London, England later of 61 Taylors Road, Sydenham, London.
