Frederick George Stevenson was the son of Mary Stevenson and Frederick Stevenson they lived in Owen Street, Wentworthville, New South Wales .

Frederick George Stevenson was recorded as enlisting at the age of 21 but put his age up because you had to be 21 to enlist . He enlisted at Casula NSW on the 4th January 1916 and embarked from Sydney . HMAT 'Orsova' A67 on the 29th July 1916.

Before his enlistment Frederick George Stevenson was a builder's carter .

He served with the 12th field Artillery.

Frederick George Stevenson was blown into the air during the battle of Messines but escaped with a severe shaking . Frederick George Stevenson went through another five big battles before he was killed in action on the 11th of October 1918 at France.
He was buried in Busigny Communal Cemetery Extension,Cambrai France .

Frederick George Stevenson was 20 years old when he was killed in action .
