Captain John Cave Stewart
John was commissioned an officer in the Australian Military Forces on 11th January 1941, making him the youngest officer, as a Lieutenant, commissioned in WW2, aged 18 years and 8 months.
At age 19 John was promoted to Captain, before serving in Papua New Guinea.
