Son of John Richard Moore and Mary Jane(nee Foster) Moore; brother of Sydney Albert Moore, Wilford John Moore, Walater James Moore, Alice Jane Moore, Ethel Susan Moore, Arthur Roy Moore, Ruby Florence Moore and Eric Lindsay Moore
On 20 February 1920 Harold married Alma Elizabeth Case in the St Marys Church, Penola, SA. Father of Arthur, Leslie (Bronc), Kinglsey, Brian, Ray, Ronald and Lionel.
After the war Harold and his family settled down of a farm on the Penola-Robe Road not far from Penola
