Biography

Pte. David R Reynolds 2/10th Batt. AIF aged 24. Only son of Mr and Mrs T N W Reynolds of Jerusalem Kadina. Educated at Kadina Public School. Member of Rechabite Lodge. Happy disposition loved by all. As a boy was regular attendant of Methodist Church and Sunday School. Interested in cricket and a member of the Whyalla Rifle Club. In civil life he was employed by the Broken Hill Pty Ltd Coy at Whyalla. Enlisted in 2nd AIF on 14 July 1942 and left Kadina on final leave on 12th December 1942. He died of wounds received at Sanananda, New Guinea on January 18th 1943 and was buried at Soputa.
