Biography

Pte. Keith Hurst of 3 Simpson Street Solomontown, aged 20. Son of Mrs M E and the late William Charles Hurst of Solomontown. Educated at Solomontown Public School. Fond of boxing a keen amateur boxer. Butcher in civil life employed by W Sharman Solomontown also by E K Harker. Enlisted in 3rd Coy AASC AIF on 20th April 1943 and was killed in an accident on NSW after three weeks in camp. He left three brothers and three sisters and seven cousins serving in the Forces.
