When Colin Sydney SMITH was born on November 15, 1919, his father, Gordon, was 29 and his mother, Lillian, was 30. He married Irene Stella Armstrong in October 1943 in Whyalla, South Australia. They had eight children in 13 years. He died on July 6, 1978, at the age of 58.
