George Dunn Chambers was the son of Howard Chambers (1883-1962) and Elizabeth Mary (Beer) Chambers 1885-1968), of Westville, Nova Scotia, Canada. George was the brother of Annie, Catherine, Lorraine, and Fred. His father served during WWI enlisting at Pictou, NS with the 193th Battalion and serving in the No. 6 Detachment Canadian Military Police Corps.
