I WILL GIVE THEE A CROWN OF LIFE REV. 2.10

Mr. J.B. Ralston of Wellcamp, has just received word that his youngest son Gunner Guy Walter Ralston, died of gunshot wounds on October 4, in the 2nd Canadian Clearing Hospital, the shot penetrating the face and elbow.  This gallant young Australian, who had laid down his life for the Empire and his friends enlisted on December 9, 1915 -  the date on which his brother Private R.G. Ralston, who fought at Gallipoli received his discharge.  Gunner Guy Ralston was a typical Australian, beloved and respected by a large circle of friends, who with us extend their deep sympathy to Mr. Ralston and family at the death of such a gallant young hero.
