Husband of Dulcie May BALL, Vesper Street, Mount Gambier, SA
Mr. Ball enlisted with the AIF in January, 1942. He served with the 10/48th Battalion, and the "Army News" in Darwin, spending three years in this area.
Mr. Ball was in the "blitz" on the Darwin area, seeing every big day raid with the exception of the first.
Before enlistment Mr. Ball was a linotype operator and compositor, and has returned to linotype operating. He recommenced work at this office in October, 1945. Married before enlistment, Mr. Ball is now residing with his wife and daughter in Vesper Street, Mt. Gambier.
