Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of Mr and Mrs S. HANSEN, of 40 Magill Road, Norwood.  Educated at Magill Public School, Albert played football and cricket and was keen on rifle shooting, spending spare time hunting.  In civilian life he was a lorryman for Penno & Co., and left this employment ot enlist in May 1941.  On account of being under age, he was discharged for about eight weeks and did munition work for this time.
