Biography

Pte. E W J Crawford of Cleve, aged 30. Son of Mrs M E Crawford of Cleve. Educated at Alford Public School. Labourer in civil life. Enlisted in AIF May 1941. Saw service in the Middle East and returned to Australia in March 1942. Rejoined his unit and went to New Guinea and was wounded in action at Milne Bay. Later was killed in action on December 28 1942.
