Son of Mr and Mrs William Robert MASTERS of 1 Scott Street, Port Pirie, SA.  Educated at Port Pirie and Murraytown Public Schools, in civilian life he worked with the Commonwealth Railways.  Enlisting in March 1941 he has seen service in the Middle East, Egypt and Palestine.
