Peter Paul Michael GILLEN was born in Clare, South Australia on 29th July, 1897

His parents were Thomas Philip GILLEN & Theresa McGILLICK who married in St Michael & St Johns church in Terowie, SA on 10th October, 1894

He was taken as prisoner of war of the Japanese on 9th April, 1942 and died from Malaria in Sandakan Camp, Borneo on 8th January, 1945 - no known grave
