Personal Stories
WW2
The details provided are taken from the book "Purple and Blue - the history of the 2nd/10th Infantry Battalion" (the Adelaide Rifles) 1st published 1958. Reginald is mentioned in the book and the citation for the award of the Military Medal for his actions at Buna 26 Dec 1942 is presented in the annex at the rear of the book. He was wounded in that action. He was discharged March 1944 probably as a result of the wounds.
