Husband of Mavis Eva Helen SUMMERS of 62 Maud Street, Unley, SA. Married with five daughters and one son, Thomas had been educated in Adelaide and was interested in football. In civilian life he was employed by the Unley City Council for a number of years. Enlisting in June 1940, he left Australia for overseas in April 1941 and was reported as wounded in action in the Middle East in July 1942.
